Celestial Rhapsody is a contemporary hillside home in Naukuchiatal, crafted for slow mornings, easy gatherings, and quiet mountain living. With lakes, cafés, forest trails, and Kainchi Dham close by, it offers a warm and connected retreat in the heart of Kumaon.
Designed with different ways of living in mind, this home brings the outdoors in through large glass windows, skylights, and open balconies overlooking the valley.

The Space
The guests have full access to 3 bedrooms, living area, 4 washrooms, a powder room and the terrace with a canopy that can seat 5-7 people. Two rooms have a skylight and two have a balcony.

Layout Overview
The ground floor features private parking space for up to two cars, ensuring convenient access for guests arriving by road.
The first floor features a separate living room and primary bedroom, thoughtfully designed for comfortable longer stays. The bedroom includes a king-size bed, storage space, and a personal safe. While the living room has a sofa cum bed, a reading corner, a smart TV, AC. This floor also offers a full washroom, an additional powder room, a fully equipped kitchen with essential appliances and cookware, and a private balcony.
The second floor houses two beautifully designed rooms - Sky 1 and Sky 2 - both enhanced with skylights that bring in natural light and an airy ambiance. Sky 1 is a spacious room featuring a king-size bed, a double sofa cum bed, an attached full washroom, and a private balcony. Sky 2 offers a comfortable setup with a queen-size bed, an attached full washroom, and its own skylight feature.
The third floor opens up to a charming terrace space with a dining area, making it an ideal setting for slow mornings, evening conversations, shared meals, or simply relaxing under the open sky.

Celestial Rhapsody is located in Naukuchiatal:
- Around 10 minutes from Naukuchiatal Lake
- 15 minutes from Bhimtal
- Approximately 40 minutes from Kainchi Dham
How many guests can the home accommodate?
Celestial Rhapsody comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests.
Beyond 6 guests, we can host up to 2 additional guests at an extra charge of ₹1,500 per person per night.
Is the property senior-citizen friendly?
Yes. Cars can come right up to the building and can be parked on the ground floor itself. The home also has an elevator with access to all floors, making it convenient for elderly guests and those with mobility concerns.

Is air conditioning available?
Yes. Air conditioning is available at Celestial Rhapsody for added comfort during warmer days. Ceiling fans are also provided in the rooms and common areas.

No. The kitchen is reserved for our staff to serve guests better.
Self-cooking is not permitted, except for heating milk for infants.
Is the property pet-friendly?
Yes, Celestial Rhapsody is pet-friendly.
We request guests travelling with pets to:
- Keep pets supervised
- Clean up after them
- Avoid letting pets out after dark due to possible wildlife movement nearby

Celestial Rhapsody is located in a growing neighbourhood around Bhimtal and Naukuchiatal. While the home itself remains private and peaceful, guests may occasionally experience the natural liveliness of the surrounding area.
Are there any quiet-hour guidelines?
Yes. To maintain harmony with the local community, guests are requested to:
- Keep outdoor noise minimal after 9 PM
- Maintain moderate sound levels indoors as well
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited.
Guests may smoke only in designated outdoor areas using ashtrays provided at the property.
Is the property safe?
Yes. For guest safety:
- Exterior areas, outside the lift and access points, are covered by CCTV
- Power backup supports lights and fans for up to 4 hours during outages
- First-aid assistance can be arranged if needed

When you're not sitting inside the bnb relaxing in the beautiful spacious rooms with crazy views, you can head out and enjoy kayaking, paragliding, or a walk along the lake and many other activities Naukuchiatal has to offer. The staff is hands on and prepares the yummiest food. We requested for a barbeque night and they made it happen. Aditi and Karan's homestay is perfect for unwinding where you can fall asleep gazing at stars from your room's skylight. They are the most gracious hosts ever and go out of their way to turn your stay into an experience. The place makes for a perfect visit throughout the year. Cannot wait to plan my next one:)”
